Background: DJ Johnson is a seasoned association executive with over 20 years of experience in membership growth, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and leadership development. He currently serves as the Chief Membership Officer at a large US medical association, where he has led initiatives that have significantly improved membership retention and growth. Previously, as VP of Membership & Engagement at the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), DJ achieved a 13% membership increase and launched the organization’s first DEI roadmap. His career includes leadership roles at various associations, consistently driving strategic growth and member engagement.
