Dr. David Geeslin is a Deaf leader and lifelong educator with more than 20 years of experience transforming Deaf education in Indiana and beyond. As Superintendent of the Indiana School for the Deaf (ISD), he led the school through a significant bilingual and cultural shift, reshaping ISD into a national model for Deaf-centered education.

David’s leadership has focused on equity, language access, and student-centered reform—earning national recognition for modernizing how Deaf students are taught and supported.

After two decades of service, Dr. Geeslin retired in 2024, leaving behind a powerful legacy of transformation.
