Tera Spangler offered role as CSDB Superintendent

We’re excited to announce that Tera Spangler has been offered the role of the next Superintendent of the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB)! Innivee Strategies was the search consultant engaged by the CSDB Board to support the process since March 2023.

Congratulations to the CSDB community on this major milestone. Working alongside CSDB since March 2023, it has been an honor to witness and co-facilitate the careful selection of a leader who embodies the values and aspirations of both the deaf and blind communities at the school.

Central to this process was our executive search service. In collaboration with CSDB, we conducted thorough organizational assessments, held extensive community interviews, crafted a detailed leadership profile, and supported the interview process– all contributing to a profound understanding of the distinctive CSDB culture. This approach led the CSDB Board to identify a leader like Tera Spangler, whose skills, commitment, and values are ideally suited to meet the needs of CSDB’s communities.

It has been incredibly inspiring to witness the community’s unity in shaping the school’s future direction. We are honored to have played a role in this transformative period and are excited to see CSDB flourish under the leadership of Tera Spangler.

As Tera Spangler takes on this new role, we are confident in the positive impact she will have on CSDB. For more details on Tera Spangler and their vision for the school, we invite you to visit the CSDB website:
