RISD Announces Formation of Director Search Committee
The Rhode Island School for the Deaf (RISD) is pleased to share that the search committee for the new director of the Rhode Island School for the Deaf has been established. The committee’s composition includes individuals representing the various constituencies across RISD, such as teachers, staff, alumni, administration, and community members. By working together with efficiency and professionalism, these individuals will play a critical role in conducting a fair, thorough, and ultimately successful search for the next leader.

Next week, the RISD Board of Trustees will approve the job profile and prospectus, which have been developed based on focus groups and survey responses with school community members, families, board of trustees members, and Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE).
