About the Search
The Lexington School and Center for the Deaf board are thrilled to announce that they have contracted with Innivee Strategies, a Deaf-led leadership and organizational development firm, to lead the search process for its next CEO/Superintendent.
Russell O. West, Lexington’s current CEO/Superintendent, announced his resignation in January 2024. Mr. West has inspired the students and staff and united the school under his vision. Under his leadership Lexington School and Center for the Deaf was accredited by both Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf (CEASD) and (New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS). In addition to that, Lexington School recently adopted a Five-Year Strategic Planning 2023-2027. The Board thanks Russ for his dedication and numerous accomplishments, and appreciates his support for the school during the transition to new leadership.
