Partnership with Innivee Strategies to Guide Three-Year Roadmap
The Louisiana Commission for the Deaf (LCD) today announced the launch of a comprehensive strategic planning process designed to establish priorities and optimize resource allocation for the next three years.
The Commission is actively seeking input from individuals who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or hard of hearing, as well as sign language interpreters, LCD partners, and current or potential service recipients. Their perspectives and experiences will be instrumental in shaping the organization’s future direction.
“The Louisiana Commission for the Deaf is pleased to announce that we have begun a strategic planning process to help establish priorities and the best use of resources for the next three years,” said Jana Broussard of LCD. “If you are Deaf, DeafBlind, or hard of hearing, a sign language interpreter, a partner of the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf, or have received or may receive services from the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf, we want to know your perspectives and experiences!”
LCD has partnered with Innivee Strategies, a Deaf-led organizational and leadership development company that previously supported the Commission’s strategic planning efforts, to facilitate this multi-month process.

Community members who have utilized LCD services, partnered with the organization, or are otherwise impacted by its work are invited to participate in a brief survey. The responses will inform a comprehensive data report that will guide LCD in identifying the community’s most pressing needs.
